Aladdin's Eatery Lounge - A Taste of Mediterranean Flavor in Cincinnati

This place was okay, the atmosphere qas very nice, Kiera was our server and she was very kind and we got in right away. I ordered the Chicken Curry rolled pita, and the lamb Mediterranean plate, while myself husband got there chicken chili. The chili was ALOT of beans, hardly any broth, but that could be to each there own. The chicken curry rolled pita was fabulous, but when those 2 things came out they and forgotten the lamb Mediterranean plate and that had to be made. Kiera profusely apologized and it was no issues. When it came out though it was very... blah. The lamb was almost burnt and it was dry. Definately needed a sauce on the side or something. Althought thr pistachio baklava was PHENOMENAL. The price range was a little high for what was given. May just and off day, but was underwhelming and this place was highly recommended.

We loved their menu and vegetarian options. Hygiene, taste and service are worth your expense. I Highly recommend vegetarians to try this place when passing by Cincinnati

Food was AMAZING!!!! we went down town with the idea of going to good fellows pizza and saw this place and decided to change plans for something new!!! And I promise you will not be disappointed!! Delicious healthy food with great service and the food didn't take long to come out either. My husband and I split two small appetizers and one entree and it was perfect!!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

We went mid day Mother's Day. There was no wait because it was an off time. The staff was friendly. Our server was new but she did a great job. She was helpful with my allergy concerns. I had the vegetarian plate and spicy cauliflower. It was delicious.

Great looking restaurant in the heart of downtown. Place looks really nice. Well decorated. The food needs a little more work. It was good but we had a lot better

Had dinner at Aladdin's last July on a Saturday evening around 6pm and had an unfortunately bad overall dining experience. Had a party of 4 adults + one child and sat outside and were pretty close to fully ignored by the server. It wasn't crowded and didn't seem understaffed from the team we saw moving around. We waited about 10 minutes for a server, then 20 minutes for beverages and another 25 minutes for our meals after the drinks. The hummus appetizer was good. I tried the Aladdin's Favorite Combo and while the rice and salad were decent, the meat was so overcooked. It was dry and the steak component was exceptionally hard to chew. One of the party members who was 7 months pregnant didn't receive dressing with her salad and asked for some from the server who then disappeared, never bringing back dressing... after 15 minutes I went inside to ask the bar tender for some dressing for the mother-to-be. We came here based on other people saying they liked it, so perhaps it was an off night. Too bad, I wouldn't recommend it.

Aladdin is a good spot with a casual vibe. The layout is a bit unique—long and narrow—and the bar is right at the front entrance. When we arrived, there was a lively group of women enjoying mimosas near the bar, which made the entrance feel a little crowded, so we ended up walking behind the reception area to get to our table. The service was friendly and attentive, though it felt like the team might still be getting into their rhythm. Nothing major, just little things here and there. The food was good! The kebbe (meatballs) had nice flavor, the spinach wrap with beef shawarma was solid, and the basmati rice tied everything together nicely. The fattayer was probably my favorite—really well done. As for drinks, the beer selection leaned American, but I was happy to find Mythos, a Greek lager that was crisp and refreshing. It was a great choice and paired well with the meal. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. It’s a good spot to grab a casual meal with some interesting flavors. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, and I’d definitely come back.

We have been to this Aladdin's a few times and it's usually pretty good and we like the food, even if service is a little slow. The last time we went, we had La'Niya as our server. She was super friendly and did her best! Which is saying a lot because she was the only one working the floor: taking orders, running food, bussing tables. What was a bad experience for us was watching the other employees sitting at tables while she was doing her best and obviously struggling to keep up. Then, about 20 minutes past closing, one of the employees sitting at a table approached us and said, quite rudely, "we closed twenty minutes ago." And we replied that we had not yet received our checks. Hopefully the staffing situation improves.
